New Report on Exchange of Information under PIC

ECHA has published a new biennial report under the PIC (Prior Informed Consent) regulation. According to this report, there’s an increase of 23% in notifications for the export of hazardous chemicals during 2020-2021 compared to 2018-2019.

Under the PIC Regulation, the EU must provide the export notifications to the authorities of non-EU importing countries before the export of the chemical takes place.
